we were so lucky to be able to snag tickets to the all blacks game (thanks to tristan and chris) the people i work with really are the nicest. the game was so fun, and our seats were just high enough to be under the covered section, so we were sheltered from the pouring rain and wind, being wet and cold is not my thing.
my favorite part of the game, was the beginning, before it even started.
a little tradition known as the Haka. it is an ancient maori dance that was preformed before battle. the movements are pretty intimidating and the players take it very seriously. the other team just stands in front of them, pretending not to be affected. pretty entertaining. i loved it. so cool to see the stadium light up as soon as it started. oh and the all blacks won the game, so double bonus.
