The way I roll, like a Rolling Stone

a few weeks ago i was browsing the internet looking for some new music to add to my itunes.  I get bored really easily when it comes to music, i guess i get bored really easily when it comes to anything.  I hate being in one place for to long, i get antsy blah blah.  but, i stumbled on Lana Del Rey, her mod style is amazing, her hair is like perfect, oh yea, and her voice. its pretty great to.  her music is so different and there is something about her that fascinates me.  i sound like a stalker.
Anyway, she grew up in New York, went to boarding school, went through a drug phase, dropped out of college to pursue a music career, and that brings us to now, where she is apparently living in Scotland. (why she would ever want to live there baffles me, Scotland sucks).  kidding.

you can listen to her here.

4MaCoHa

In the most recent issue of W magazine, there is a teeny tiny blurb about Holly Dunlap.  She is the designer behind Hollywould (a line of "ultra-preppy shoes and party dresses") Recently, Holly partnered with the Malawi Council for the Handicapped (which is abbreviated MaCoHa) to create a line of amazing caftans and tunics that are hand dyed and embroidered by the members of MaCoHa.  Malawi is located in southeast Africa, and from the pictures, it looks like a gorgeous country.

The collection, is called 4MaCoHa, and the pieces are so amazing.  The articles says that, "most of the customers are buying for holiday trips to the Caribbean or Seychelles and the decor items are being sold to people with beach houses everywhere from Mozambique to Montauk."

Here are some of my favorite pieces, and they are available here!
