Olympics

im laying in my cozy twin size bed with the heated blanket turned on hi, i just finished watching the olympics and it got me taking a little trip down memory lane.  four years ago, during the 08' Olympics, i had just moved to ohio and i was sitting on a dorm room couch in the middle of preseason.  during lunch time we would grab food and then relax and watch the olympics between two a days. most of the time falling asleep out of pure exhaustion and severe depression.  well i was depressed, i don't know about everyone else.  8 hours of practice is just not my thing.  but anyway. it just made me think about how quickly time goes by. in my head, i'm still that freshman sitting in the dorm.  except now I'm 23, hardly employed, and sitting on a couch in a random families home, in the middle of the mountains, in new zealand? normal. call me crazy, but its been a pretty fun and eventful 4 years.  can't predict where i will be for the next olympics, but I'm excited.
