I recently "met" the lovely Morgan on Twitter...and then I started reading her blog. And LOVED it - we live in the same city... and both love fashion and blogging. Hello! Instant friends!
She had the fabulous idea of doing a blog swap so... here I am. {Get excited, kids!}
And since winter is almost upon on {boo, hiss} I thought I'd share with you a few of my essentials to get through this crazy season! If you live in Ohio during the winter you certainly learn that there are a few things that you can not go without!
Cozy scarves. What's not to love about a thick, warm scarf made of soft yarn?? I am currently loving this one; it's made of three uber cozy yarns - so cuddly. {And yes, this is a bit of a shameless plug because I made this - and yes, you can contact me and place an order if you'd like... ;)}
Black slouchy boots. I had been searching for the perfect black comfortable boots. And I found them, at Target, in the little girls section. Yes, I have tiny feet. And I am sooo thankful for that because I love these boots. They are warm and cozy and were wayyy cheaper than the ladies version. Thanks mom for my small feet!
White Coat. For some unknown reason I have a real obsession with white clothing. I love how lux it feels. It's clean, classy, and a blank slate. I think I need a white coat to add to my winter wardrobe. It'd be the perfect staple. #dearsanta {And this one from Old Navy is adorable and affordable. Win. Win.}
Vintage Wrapping Paper. It's almost holiday season, guys. And I'm a details kind of girl - I think about how I'm going to wrap presents and I always want them to look too cute to open. I stumbled on this vintage wrapping paper on Mod Cloth and I. Am. In. Love. It's a bit pricey for it being paper.... but it's soooo cute!
Peppermint Mocha. I have a new obsession - peppermint mocha's from Starbucks. Yummy in my tummy. {but not so much on my thighs} I have always loved anything peppermint flavored. Yes, pretty much anything. But when I tried this drink the other day {I'm late to the game, I know.}. It was like drinking winter in a cup. You have to try one. Really.
What are you loving, lusting after, or wearing this winter??? Does the thought of snow and cold days depress you as much as it does me??
Please pop on over to my blog and read what else tickles my fancy! Lots of thanks to Morgan for having me stop by!!!
Love always.
